DAWALEE Arak is a traditionally crafted, small-batch anise-flavoured spirit distilled in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Made only from fresh grape spirit and medicinal aniseed, it is triple distilled at traditional strength to preserve clarity, balance, and the authentic character of arak.


Distinctive in nature, arak is defined by its unique aromatic profile, setting it apart from all other spirits. DAWALEE opens with lifted anise aromas that are fresh and expressive, followed by gentle herbal nuances and a smooth, full-bodied palate. With the addition of cold water, the spirit takes on its characteristic milky-white appearance, revealing a clean, warming finish that unfolds gradually.

Serving Suggestion: Pour arak into a glass, then add cold water at a 1:2.5 ratio (one part arak to two parts water). Add ice if desired and serve chilled. Particularly well suited to seafood, and equally enjoyable with mezze and grilled meats.
